Ranger Quadra offers many new individual programmable features. This chapter shows how to
access and customise the exciting new options.
All functions are accessible with the following touch buttons:
1. Switch the Ranger Quadra OFF.
2. Press power up and down buttons together at the same time and switch the unit ON again by
pressing the two buttons.
3. Release the buttons soon the unit is switched on.
4. Done, the unit is back to standard settings.
Menu: Press this button multiple times to select the function you want to setup.
Sub Menu: Press this button to access preselected functions and further sub functions.
Power UP: Select higher values.
Power Down: Select lower values.
If after 2-5 seconds no other settings have been applied the unit returns to standard mode and
the display shows the ash power setting. All changes applied changes are stored automatically.

Flash Power Display (dJ)
• Displays the ash power in Ws or in f-stop

LED-Pilotlight Shut Down Setting (L)
• Programmable Pilotlight
Shut Down- settings
Flash Power Steps Per Push (i)
• Change ash power in
1/10th – 5/10th or 1 f-stop
steps
Menu Auto Return (Ar)
• Programmable delay time
until the unit returns from
the“Menu” mode to normal
“Flash Power Display“
mode. All programmed
features are automatically
stored
